Cloud Atlas - Extended First Look

I read this book in college, when I was traveling around Europe. I almost gave up on it because it was pissing me off, then lost it in Spain and decided to buy it again once I got back to London because I had gotten hooked in spite of myself. And in the long run, I think I really loved it.

I’m not sure if it’ll work as a movie, but this looks potentially awesome—mostly because Ben Whishaw is a perfect Robert Frobisher, and Robert Frobisher is one of my favorite characters in fiction. (Not so sure about Tom Hanks as a native Hawaiian islander.)

I’m really worried that this is totally gonna suck—partially because On the Road should never be made into a movie with an actual plot, and partially because Kristen Stewart—get out of the movie.

(…But I’m still going to go see it opening week.)
